We have a winner on Common Pauraque!
Well, I wish I could say that, as a dedicated wildlife photographer, I enticed that Black-bellied Whistling Duck to, well, you know …. Actually, I don’t wish I could say that.
Well, seeing that I really have no idea and I’m just looking at Sibley, that pattern on the scapulars looks most like a Common Pauraque, but what do I know?
BTW – your latest photos of the canyon and the sexy duck are phenomenal. I wonder if you have a new lens. I actually prefer the photos of the not so sexy duck (less is more, in this case), but geez, Bryan, how the heck did you manage to capture that guy exposing himself???
