    I have seen *lots* of black skimmers on the beaches in and near Biloxi, MS which seems like such an odd place to find them since there are lots of people. I once saw one skimming the pond in Audubon Park in New Orleans for a few days and then it was gone. Are you going to the Gulf Coast? Have fun!

    Oh, wow! Brian, the skimmers are stunning. I saw Matt Kolan tonight and he said that you two had connected….and that classes at UVM are over for the semester. Hope you get a well needed break. Best wishes at this holiday season.
